Return and Refund Policy

At Runaway Cupcakes, we take pride in handcrafting every cake and cupcake to the highest standard. Please read our policy carefully before placing your order.

Returns

As all our products are freshly made food items, we are unable to accept returns.

Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation 14 or more days before your pickup or delivery date: full refund
  • Cancellation 7–13 days before your pickup or delivery date: 50% refund
  • Cancellation 1–6 days before your pickup or delivery date: 25% refund
  • Cancellation on the day of pickup or delivery: no refund

All refunds will incur a 5% surcharge to cover administration and payment processing fees.

Deposits

A 50% deposit or full payment is required at the time of ordering, processed securely through our website. Deposits and payments are refundable in accordance with the cancellation schedule above.

If We Need to Cancel

In the unlikely event that Runaway Cupcakes is unable to fulfil your order due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund with no surcharge applied.

Quality Concerns

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you have a concern about your order, please contact us within 48 hours of collection or delivery with photos and a description of the issue. We will assess each case fairly and work with you to find a resolution. Concerns raised after 48 hours or after the product has been fully consumed may not be eligible for a refund.

Allergen Notice

Runaway Cupcakes operates in a mixed environment where nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs and other allergens are present. While we take every reasonable precaution to clean and separate allergen-related baking, we cannot guarantee that our products are completely free from traces of allergens. Customers with severe allergies or dietary requirements should take this into consideration before ordering. If you have specific concerns, please contact us prior to placing your order.
