This cake was built for exactly that kid.
Handcrafted in our Malvern studio, this dinosaur birthday cake features fully edible hand-sculpted cute dinosaur figures – each one shaped, coloured and detailed individually by hand with the soft, rounded character styling that makes them irresistibly adorable while still being unmistakably dinosaur. Choose 1 cute dino as the star of the show, or build up to a whole herd of 4 for a birthday table that really makes a statement. T-Rex, Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus – whatever species the birthday child loves most, we craft them from scratch. The cake design, colours and all personalised details are fully customisable to match the birthday child’s vision – from bold jungle greens to pastel dino in soft blues and pinks for the little ones who want their dinosaurs cute rather than scary.

At Runaway Cupcakes, we have been creating custom cakes in Melbourne since 2015, and our bakers are Royal Melbourne Show Blue Ribbon winners. Every dinosaur figure is individually hand-sculpted – the proportions, the colour work, the little details that make each one full of character and personality. This is not a plastic toy dinosaur dropped on top of a cake. Every single dino is fully edible and built from scratch just for your child’s celebration.
