🌿 Wicked Theme Vintage Cake Melbourne
Some people don’t just love Wicked — they feel it. They know what it means to be the misunderstood one, the one who doesn’t fit the mould, the one who ends up defying gravity anyway. If you’re celebrating someone like that, this is the cake that says you truly see them.
Handcrafted in our Malvern studio, this Wicked theme vintage cake is built around the show’s most iconic visual tension — the bold split between emerald green and soft pink, rendered in elegant vintage-style fondant piping with the kind of theatrical detail that makes this cake feel like it belongs on a West End stage. The piping work is intricate and refined, the colour contrast is dramatic and beautiful, and the whole design has a timeless elegance that works as beautifully for a sophisticated adult birthday as it does for a teen celebrating their favourite musical. Available in round or heart shape, with fully personalised wording to make it entirely theirs.
What Makes This Cake Special
At Runaway Cupcakes, we’ve been creating custom cakes in Melbourne since 2015, and our bakers are Royal Melbourne Show Blue Ribbon winners. Vintage piping work is one of the most technically demanding decorating styles in cake making — the consistency, the pressure control, the layering of detail — and it’s the kind of craftsmanship that our Blue Ribbon-winning bakers have genuinely mastered. This cake doesn’t just reference Wicked. It does it justice.
Make It Completely Theirs
Colour tones, piping style, shape (round or heart), name, age and any custom Wicked-inspired wording or details can all be personalised. Want deeper emerald tones, a glitter finish, a specific quote or matching Wicked cupcakes for the whole party? Just tell us.
Example request: “For Chloe turning 16 — heart-shaped Wicked cake in deep emerald and blush pink vintage piping, ‘Happy Birthday Chloe’ and a Wicked quote on the board.”
