Once upon a time, in a land not so far from Malvern, a very special birthday cake was made. This handcrafted two-tier Peter Rabbit cake is the kind that makes parents tear up a little – because it feels so perfectly suited to the little one it was made for.
The beloved blue-jacketed bunny is sculpted entirely by hand and sits proudly on the top tier, tiny carrot in paw, looking as mischievous and charming as ever. The white middle tier features a hand-crafted teal ribbon banner with the birthday name in crisp white lettering, framed by a lush garden border of hand-rolled blue and teal flowers, green leaves and delicate floral details. The bottom tier is finished in soft teal with beautifully sculpted ruffled fondant, polka dot accents and edible carrots scattered across the cake board – a nod to Peter’s greatest obsession. Every element – the rabbit figure, the flowers, the banner, the ruffles, the carrots – is handcrafted and fully edible. Nothing plastic, nothing premade.
