🖤 Wednesday Addams Birthday Cake Melbourne
She does not smile. She does not follow trends. She does not want a cake covered in pink butterflies. And honestly? That is exactly what makes her extraordinary. This cake was made for the girl who has always marched to the beat of her own cello.
Handcrafted in our Malvern studio, this Wednesday Addams birthday cake features a fully edible hand-sculpted fondant figure of Wednesday herself – her signature twin braids, her perfectly fitted black dress, her pale complexion and that unmistakable expression that says she finds your enthusiasm mildly exhausting. The figure sits atop a dark, sophisticated cake finished in deep gothic tones with moody detailing that reflects Wednesday’s aesthetic completely – no colour, no sparkle, no compromise. Every element is built entirely by hand and fully edible, crafted with the kind of precise, detailed skill that a character this iconic demands.
What Makes This Cake Special
At Runaway Cupcakes, we have been creating custom cakes in Melbourne since 2015, and our bakers are Royal Melbourne Show Blue Ribbon winners. Sculpting a character figure with this level of detail – the braids, the facial expression, the dress construction, the overall proportions – is exacting, skilled work that reflects a decade of genuine craftsmanship. The finished figure is the kind of thing that makes people lean in for a closer look before they realise it is entirely made of cake.
Make It Completely Theirs
Figure pose, cake colour palette, dark design details, name, age and any Wednesday or Addams Family references can all be personalised. Want to add Thing, a cello, a raven or a favourite Wednesday quote on the base? Just tell us.
Example request: “For Zoe turning 13 – Wednesday Addams cake in black and grey, her name on the base, Wednesday figure with cello and ‘Normal is an illusion’ quote.”
