Handcrafted in our Malvern studio, this two-tier Lego birthday cake is covered in edible fondant Lego blocks — individual bricks in bold, vibrant colours carefully shaped and placed across the tiers with the clean, satisfying geometry that makes Lego so immediately recognisable and so incredibly satisfying to look at. The overall design is bright, joyful and full of the playful energy that Lego brings to every build — and the whole thing can be personalised around your child’s favourite Lego theme, colour palette and of course their name and age. Whether they’re deep into Lego City, Lego Technic, Lego Star Wars or just building whatever their imagination produces, we can design the cake around their world.
What Makes This Cake Special
At Runaway Cupcakes, we’ve been creating custom cakes in Melbourne since 2015, and our bakers are Royal Melbourne Show Blue Ribbon winners. A Lego cake done properly is about more than sticking a few brick shapes on the side — it’s about the colour balance, the placement, the energy of the design and the way the whole thing comes together to feel genuinely like the world of Lego in cake form.
