This is not a cake with a BB-8 topper. This is not a flat fondant picture of BB-8. This entire cake IS BB-8 — a fully sculpted, three-dimensional droid birthday cake handcrafted from scratch in our Malvern studio, built to look so accurate that you’ll want to give it a pat before cutting into it.
The perfectly round body is finished in crisp white fondant with hand-painted orange and grey panel detailing, every bolt and hatch carefully placed. The dome head sits on top with BB-8’s signature large black sensor eye and antenna. The tiny outstretched arm gives the most enthusiastic thumbs-up — exactly as he would for Rey.
The birthday message is hand-lettered in matching orange fondant on the cake board, completing the full BB-8 presentation from every angle.
